Saluti from Bologna!

My first rainy day since arriving a week ago. Luckily, the porticoes make going out and about easy, even in the rain. Until now I have been spending as much time as possible catching up with friends and enjoying life in the piazzas and under the porticoes. Bought my first little sack of roasted chestnuts the other day as I was walking under the portico of Via Rizzoli.Their fragrance in the chill of an autumn evening still makes it impossible for me to pass by without getting a portion. This evening a wine-tasting and cooking class...I'll give a report tomorrow. In the meantime, greetings from Bologna e Italia!
